• Seasonal, themed and 'quick pick' stock promotions across the Borough's libraries
• Stock-lists of new books and story-tapes (at various libraries)
• Reading 'ideas' lists including - Arresting Tales - crime/thriller authors 50 Women whose Books have Changed the World His & Hers - "young, fun & sexy reading from the lads' & chick lit authors"
• Reading groups at Ainsdale, Carnegie (College Road) and Crosby libraries - and more being planned
• And - of course - friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you

Librarians in the North West have pioneered partnership working to encourage new readers into libraries. Time To Read is a partnership of librarians, literature development workers and other organisations engaged in reader development activity in public library authorities in the North West Region. All 22 public library authorities in the region are involved.

Time To Read currently has a full time paid co-ordinator, supported by Arts Coucil of England and Museums, Libraries and Archives, North West.
