News from library authorities:
National Library for the Blind
The National LIbrary for the Blind (NLB) has been running workshops for visually impaired people and library staff around the country, as part of the government's UK on line Campaign. So far we have visited Street in Somerset and Reading in Berkshire. The workshops are giving vips a chance to try out the internet and library staff a chance to work with vips. Needless to say, reading sites like the mainstream and the NLB whichbook sites are high on our list of sites to look at, as well as local library sites and on-line catalogues.

Time To Read currently has a full time paid co-ordinator, supported by Arts Coucil of England and Museums, Libraries and Archives, North West.
