BIOGRAPHY

Helen Farrall - formerly known as Helen Eatock - is a television scriptwriter and storyliner who was born on the Wirral but now lives in South Manchester. To date she has written over 30 hours of television, storylined many more and been involved in developing new series ideas.

Helen has also written short and feature length film scripts and pieces for regional and community theatre. In 1996 she was a runner-up in the BAFTA/ Carl Foreman Awards.

Helen is also a highly experienced scriptwriting tutor, script-reader and consultant. Her teaching spans every level from short vocational courses to Master of Arts degrees. She has advised national television companies and local writers’ circles, and run workshops and given talks for higher education colleges, libraries, council initiatives and primary schools. She is the current Royal Literary Fund Fellow for the University of Central Lancashire.
