Chris Simms

BIOGRAPHY
Chris Simms is tipped as ’a name to watch’and ’a soon to be star of the crime fiction world’. His debut thriller, ’Outside the White Lines’ was described by City Life as ’one of the most promising debuts in crime for some time’. His follow up, ’Pecking Order’, was described as ’an ingeniously plotted psychological thriller’ by Ottakar’s and ’a thought provoking novel (which) builds towards an edge of the seat finale’ by The Bookseller.
Chris’ third novel, ’Killing the Beasts’ introduces the Manchester based policeman, DI Jon Spicer. Set during the Commonwealth Games, it is every bit as dark and compelling as his previous two. Chris has given talks to various library reading groups in the Stockport area.
