BIOGRAPHY
Cath Staincliffe is the creator of the acclaimed Sal Kilkenny mysteries. Looking For Trouble launched private eye Sal: a single parent struggling to juggle work and home, onto Manchester’s mean streets. It was short-listed for the CWA best first novel award and serialised on BBC, Radio 4, Woman’s Hour. The sixth and latest mystery is Bitter Blue. Cath is also a scriptwriter, creator of Granada Television’s hit police series, Blue Murder, starring Caroline Quentin. She is a founder member of Murder Squad, a collective of crime writers who promote their work through readings, workshops and events.
