Chester Arts In Libraries Network Meeting

St.Helens Council in partnership with Arts Council England and other local authorities from the north of England are hosting a number of Arts In Libraries meetings in early 2018.

arts in librariesThe meetings are open to both arts and library professionals and are an opportunity to:

· Hear about and discuss examples of best practice taking place within the field of arts in libraries across the country.

· Discuss and promote cultural work being delivered in libraries in your area.

· Hear from and speak to representatives from Arts Council England about their Grants for the Arts Fund.

· Explore opportunities for developing your own arts in libraries initiatives.

North West Libraries

Librarians in the North West have pioneered partnership working to encourage new readers into libraries. Time To Read is a partnership of librarians engaged in reader development activity in public library authorities in the North West Region. 22 public library authorities in the region currently support Time To Read.
