Catherine Isaac reads from her new book, You, Me, Everything

You me EverythingFrom March to June each year, the annual Read Regional campaign celebrates selected new books from the North of England. At libraries and literary festivals across the North, authors take part in events where you can hear about their writing and talk to them about their work.

We're delighted to welcome Catherine to Prestwich Library to read from her wonderful new book, You, Me, Everything. The book is about a single mother called Jess, who sets off with her ten-year-old son William to spend a summer in the Dordogne, where her ex-boyfriend Adam – William’s father – runs a restored chateau as a hotel. The trip is not merely a holiday. Jess is fulfilling the wishes of her mother who, in the late stages of Huntington’s disease, is determined that William needs a father in his life.

Light refreshments will be available.

There is free parking directly outside the library. If you're coming on public transport then the library is a short walk from the metrolink stop.
