Bolton-born Roy began his career in horticulture in Bolton parks’ department.He is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time and has taken part in a number of TV programmes including Gardeners’ World.

Roy be giving an insight into his new book at the talk in September, and there will be an opportunity to buy copies of his book and get it signed.
