Oldham libraries are delighted to be supporting this community run festival which returns for a second year. Several favourites are returning including BBC Radio presenter, Mike Sweeney; ex-Scot’s Guard turned poet, Spike the Poet, and London Literary Agent, Christine Green, who will be returning to her Saddleworth roots to speak about her time in the literary world. New to the festival are award winning playwright and poet, Cathy Crabb; 2016 winner of The Guardian prize for Children’s Literature, Alex Wheatle, and comedian, ‘Buzz’ Hawkins of ‘The Bradshaws’ who will be delivering his unique style of comedy and nostalgia.
£5 entry fee covers both days of the festival
