Biography

I was born in Manchester on 1st July , 1970. I have a BA (hons) 2:1 in English and graduated as the best creative writer. I also have a post graduate degree in Theatre Studies from University of Manchester. I'm a Sales Manager by trade, married with three young children.

My debut Children’s novel The Bee Hive was published on May 31st 2016. My second book will be published this year and illustrated by my teenage daughter. I have visited 17 schools to date and worked with over 3000 pupils on how to creatively write stories.

My debut novel The Bee Hive was published on May 31st 2016 and illustrated by my teenage daughter. My 2nd novel will be published before the end of 2018, the third is completed and I am now writing my 4th.I have featured in local newspapers like the Warrington Guardian ( twice) Cheshire News, Lymm magazine, MEN (Manchester Evening News), have been interviewed by Berlin based, and one of Germany's most popular internet bloggers - British Berliner and appeared as a guest on 13 radio stations including BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Manchester and most recently BBC Radio Lancashire where thousands of listeners have heard me talk about my passion for children's writing. My book is available in over ten countries worldwide and was nominated by my publisher to appear at the prestigious London Book Fair and Book Expo in USA 2017. The Bee Hive was launched in WHSmith Warrington and the press release distributed to 47 of Americas biggest media outlets. I have been interviewed by Berlin based, and one of Germany's most popular internet bloggers - British Berliner

In the last 18 school calendar months I have visited 37 schools across the following areas - Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Widnes, Neston, Weaverham, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Wallasey, Preston and Blackburn. I have toured libraries in the Warrington, Wirral and Northwich areas, participated in children’s literary and art festivals across the country .I have been an official storyteller at Geromino Children's Festival held at Arley Hall, Cheshire for the last 2 years. I was approached to give a presentation to inspire the kids, motivate them and present awards to deserved kids at Kumon Educational centre in Warrington and also in the Oldham area
