Publications & Performance History

The Loneliest Robot is my first novel and is self-published. It was released in May 2017 and is available in paperback and ebook exclusively via Amazon. The book has over 3,000 downloads globally and I have sold approx 500 paperbacks in the 5 months since release.

Workshop & Reading Experience

I am a new author but have visited 6 schools in the last few months and have more school visits planned shortly. I am aged 48 and resigned from a senior corporate position which necessitated my working around the world for 20+ years. I gained a lot of experience in public speaking from my management roles.

Reference

I have a visit scheduled for Barnton Library (Cheshire West and Chester) in October. You can also acquire references from 2 teachers from schools I have recently visited. Emma Carrington (St Benedicts Primary School, Liverpool) Josie Martin (Blessed Sacrament School, Liverpool)

Group size preference

10-30 works best for group discussion

Group age preference

Age 9-16. My book seems to have a broad age appeal (even though it was written for younger readers). So I would be open to other events which involve adult readers.

Working languages

English only

Area prepared to travel

North West (I am based close to Warrington and prepared to travel 30-mile radius). I would appreciate at least 1-week notice for any visit events

Other information

I would seek permission to sell paperbacks at my events. Do not hesitate to contact me if you require more information. I am also CRB checked as I coach my son's football team. Thank-you
